Dr. Adrianna Shembel, associate professor and fellow, Eugene McDermott Distinguished Professor at UT Dallas, is working to change that. Through her research on the larynx and voice disorders, Shembel is challenging how researchers and clinicians understand, diagnose and treat conditions affecting the voice.
